Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming bout.
Ex twice world title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the novice is still one of boxing's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
